Beautiful Ink Paintings of Chickens and Cats 

Endre Penovác  creates ink paintings of animals. On of his favorite subject, after cats, are chickens. He represents it their color of feather and their red mohican. With his technique, he manages to paint the texture of the plumage.

Elisa Ancori translates her phantasmagoric world through illustration. It is the reflection of a magical universe. A bestiary of semi-aquatic half-human creatures comes to life in his drawings. The artist tells through the history of the specters of the sea the questions about femininity, life and death. The images she shares are small open windows on the intimacy of her marine muses. The technique used is colored pencils on paper, pen and acrylic on wood.

There are many sources of inspirations. Icons, illuminated miniatures, ancient artifacts from the Etruscan to the Byzantine era. The work is based upon contrasts between the mat paper and the golden parts which come with different textures and degrees of reflection. It goes from mat to very glossy .
