This connection with Mother Earth is often the main source of inspiration for his impressive wooden vessels that incorporate elements of natural history and portray colorful local wildlife. These often feature flora and fauna from his most beloved places - Africa and Oceania. Finally, Gordon forms fitting color compositions and applies them with an airbrush.
