Installation in an Art Gallery in London

Since January 25th and until March 11th, an installation by teamLab namedTranscending Boundaries is visible at Pace Gallery in London

This decline is in fact divided in two artworks: a first one called Universe of Water Particles, which represents a virtual waterfall flowing all along the gallery ; and a second one (Flowers Bloom on People) which consists in the apparition of flowers depending on the movements of the spectators. A spectacular and poetic installation that demonstrates the trend of including the audience in the artistic experience. h/t: Fubiz

 Surreal Self-Portraiture of Kyle Thompson

 Chicago-based photographer Kyle Thompson wowed us with his surreal self-portraits nine months ago and he hasn’t quit churning out striking photos yet. 
Thompson continues to play with the elements–submerging himself in lakes and muddy puddles, exposing random limbs poking out from the earth, and setting himself on fire. His images have a beautiful sense of movement to them, especially in the recurring presentation of the fluidity of windswept fabric, which often complements his serene expression. Many of the photographer’s images alternate between presenting a visual interpretation of inhaling a breath of fresh air and being suffocated by some unnatural force. In one photo Diggie’s model is steaming with heat rolling from his body, a surreal look at man, but in the next photo the same model has flames bursting from his sleeves while in relaxing motions he wipes sweat from his brow. Diggie’s photographs take us on journeys of fun and confusion. The child in all of us would love to be lighting the giant candle atop a massive cupcake before we dive into to fill our childhood fantasies.
